Leading for Rigorous Learning Conference

March 14-15, 2024

Description of the Conference

You are invited to join school and system leaders from around the world to explore and deepen your practices in leading rigorous learning in your school and system.  Based on the latest research and practices, this two day session offers an overview of Rigor Redefined, an approach that centers on fostering a generation of learners who are not only well-equipped to handle the academic challenges of school but also empowered to become independent, collaborative problem solvers in any real-world context.

This program is anchored by a set of key leadership practices that support leaders in implementing, broadening, and sustaining high impact teaching and learning practices across systems and schools.  Sessions extend beyond personal leadership practices and provide tangible approaches to building systems to ensure effective teacher capacity building.

In addition, the session focuses on introducing a set of teaching and leading habits that have been carefully curated to provide leaders, teachers, and students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they need to thrive in today’s complex and ever-changing educational landscape. From critical thinking to effective collaboration, from independent learning to adaptability, these habits serve as guiding lights, illuminating the path to success for both students and educators.
