About The Center for Excellence at New Tech High School

New Technology High School (NTHS) in Napa, California, opened in 1996 with a new vision for what educating students could look like.  20 years later, our original mission is still at the core of the work we do to transform the lives of our students.  Since opening the doors, NTHS has hosted over 20,000 visitors, including international, national, state, and local educators and business, government, and organization leaders.  New Technology High School is the flagship school of the New Tech Network, a thought leader in education reform.

Through deepening our project-based learning implementation, exploring the role of technology in education, strengthening a student-led culture, and defining outcomes that matter, New Tech High is in a constant state of innovation and iteration.  We invite you to explore the various opportunities we have for outside stakeholders to learn about the work done at New Tech High. Visit us on campus and observe innovative practices in action or explore the variety of services we offer. All proceeds go to supporting opportunities for our students.
