Description of the Session
You are invited to join school and system leaders from across the United States to deepen your practices in leading rigorous learning in your school and system. Based on the latest research, this two day session offers an overview of Rigorous PBL by Design, a set of key leadership practices to support leaders in implementing this work, a tour of PBL in action at Napa New Tech High, and time to network with colleagues.
The session includes copies of Dr. McDowell’s latest books The Project Habit: Making Rigorous PBL Doable and Navigating Leadership Drift as well as a set of online resources for supporting teachers in this work.
Who should attend?
The session is specifically designed for district and site administration, decision makers who are interested in learning more about a rigorous PBL approach while meeting standards and competency based outcomes.

Cost and Registration
We are excited to have you as a participant and attend our day and a half session with Dr. Michael McDowell here on our campus in Napa California. The cost is $300 per participant. We encourage you to bring a team to learn and reflect together in your journey. Registration includes light breakfast and coffee, lunch on the first day and two of Dr. McDowell’s books, The Project Habit: Making Rigorous PBL Doable and Navigating Leadership Drift.
